ResumenThe aim of this paper is to analyze the functioning of organized crime (OC) groups in northern Mexico in relation to some forms of business organization. It is hypothesized that criminal groups in Mexico generate revenues that impact on both global and national economies through the use ofseveral strategies that are visible in business models, such as profitable income, labor organization, hiring modes, brand expansion, market strengthening and an organizational structure.es_ES
