Efecto del empowerment grupal en la proactividad. Un estudio empírico en equipos de I+D de Universidades Tamaulipecas

Abstract

The present study aims to investigate the effects of group empowerment on the proactivity of the R&D teams of the universities of the state of Tamaulipas (Mexico). The study was carried out by applying an online survey in 86 teams registered in the Program for Professional Teacher Development (PRODEP). We used a non-probabilistic sampling by convenience. A multiple linear regression model was used to test the hypothesis. The results show a positive and significant relationship between the study variables. Also, it is suggested that teams tend to become more proactive when they find their job as important and meaningful.
