ResumenThe objective of the study is to analyze the relationship between human capital, organizational learning and organizational performance, in higher secondary education institutions in Tamaulipas, Mexico. The type of research is quantitative, with a non-experimental design and a causal scope. A questionnaire with a Likert-type scale with five response levels was designed and applied online to a probabilistic sample of 505 active teachers in the chair and in school academies, in addition, who had adequate results in their performance evaluation. The exploratory factor analysis made it possible to identify the underlying structure of each latent variable, obtaining favorable Cronbach coefficients and composite reliability, with results equal to or greater than 0.70. For the validation of the hypotheses, the modeling of structural equations was applied. The results showed that human capital and organizational learning positively influence organizational performance, which represents for educational management the opportunity to manage one of the most important intangible capitals. It is concluded that the training, skills, values and learning of the teaching staff are practices that are considered valuable, since they contribute to improving processes, services, image, among other indicators, related to the performance of educational institutions in the public sector.es_ES
