Statistical Software in the Training of Medical Students and Its Influence on Academic Performance

Abstract

In recent years, the teaching of statistics in the university setting has undergone a significant transformation, thanks to the integration of advanced technological tools. Objective: To verify the positive influence of using PSPP software in the subject of statistics within the basic mathematics course, aiming to increase the academic performance index in the study unit. This is a quasi-experimental research with a cross-sectional design using quantitative processes for data collection and an explanatory scope through an independent variable.
