ResumenBdella longistriata Atyeo is a mite with restricted distribution that has been registered in the United States of America (Texas) and Mexico (Colima, State of Mexico, Guerrero, Jalisco, Morelos, San Luis Potosí, and Tamaulipas). Were colected 130 mites in different stages of development, except larvae and eggs. Population structure collected by the Malaise trap were 85% females, 9% males, and 6% immature stages. The mites were compared with those collected in a Berlese funnel from a tropical deciduous forest in the State of Jalisco.es_ES
