| Resumen | The diversity of Braconidae was determined in an area cultivated with maize, chili, broccoli, and onion in the municipality of San Francisco de los Romo, Aguascalientes, Mexico. The collections were made with yellow, blue, red and green sticky traps. Three-hundred thirteen specimens from 11 subfamilies, 19 genera, and 30 species were captured. Adialytus Forster, Chelonus insularis Cresson, Homolobus truncator Say, Meteorus rubens Nees, Nealiolus curculionis Fitch, and Proterops proteroptoides Viereck are new records for Aguascalientes. Proterops Wesmael, Aphidius Nees, Diaeretiella Stary, P. proteroptoides, and Diaeretiella rapae Curtis were the most abundant taxa. The yellow and green traps had the greatest values in terms of richness and abundance, which was attributed to the similar intervals of reflectance in the colors. The ecological indices used indicate medium to great diversity for Braconidae. This presents a precedent so that braconids can be considered as a viable alternative in the biological control of pests of the place. | es_ES |
