ResumenThe arboreal ant Azteca instabilis (F. Smith 1862) was found in flowers of the epiphytic bromeliad Tillandsia baileyi (Rose ex Small) at a tropical dry forest. This is the first report of A. instabilis at Tamaulipas, expanding its distribution in the northern neotropics. The knowledge is important for further establishment of conservation strategies for ants and epiphytes.es_ES
