Abstract
Fiber optic pH sensor based on the multimodal interference effect, coated with a PVA-thin-film doped with bromophenol blue, shows increased RI-sensitivity as high as 20x10<sup>-3</sup> and 9x10-<sup>3</sup> nm/RIU in the pH range of 2.0–5.0.
