Abstract

In the present investigation, two public policies were analyzed, one implemented by the Mexican government consisting of providing loans to the governed and another established by the government of the State of Tamaulipas, Mexico, implemented through the program “today it does not circulate”, both with the In order to counteract the effects of the pandemic on the economy both in Mexico and in the State of Tamaulipas, the purpose was to determine its effectiveness, that is, to carry out an analysis from its implementation to its application and corresponding evaluation to determine if they were really effective, and if society benefited from their implementation or if, on the contrary, they were not effective and the expenditure made by the authorities for their implementation was an unnecessary expense and not an investment, so the objective is to determine the impact on the Mexican economy during the pandemic; Regarding the methodology that was used, it is qualitative, the research method is deductive and the indirect research technique, considering that they are sufficient to reach the goal that is sought, once the public policies that are cited in the body of the present have been analyzed. research work concludes that they did not have the expected effectiveness, so the economy was affected and very little support from public institutions, so the authorities must rethink their application for the benefit of the society.
