Cecal faecaloma in domestic dogs

Abstract

Enteric sicknesses of nutritional origin, can lead to serious problems for patient, even more when there exists conditions related to poor metabolism and advanced age. Now, a particular case will be shown where a geriatric patient with a constipation background and bad eating habits showed radiographically a mass of a large size identified as a faecaloma and coprolites in the cecal portion. Additionally this patient had a closed pyometra.
