ResumenThe groups formerly recognized as the hispines and cassidines are now combined into a single taxon Cassidinae, which is the second most speciose subfamily of Chrysomelidae and worldwide in distribution. Being such a large subfamily, the biology, ecology, and distribution of many of the species are unknown. Localities and states in Mexico where specimens of the family Chrysomelidae have been collected are known for only about 50% of the species. In this study, Pseudispa sinuata Staines and Uroplata fusca Chapuis were recorded for the first time in Mexico, and the distribution of Pseudispa tuberculata Staines was extended to include the Mexican state of Oaxaca.es_ES
