Abstract
This study analyzes the perception of university professors regarding the use of the Microsoft Teams platform as a support tool in the teaching processes in a public university in Mexico. Based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), two essential dimensions are addressed: perceived ease of use and usefulness, as factors that affect the intention to adopt this platform. The methodology used was quantitative, with a cross-sectional and descriptive design, through the application of a digital questionnaire to a random sample of 66 teachers. The results reflect a positive assessment, especially in relation to academic organization and communicative efficiency. It is concluded that the sustained use of Teams depends on institutional support and pedagogical appropriation, which raises the need to generate policies that promote its meaningful integration in higher education.
