Generación de innovación social en empresas socialmente responsables de Tamaulipas
Abstract
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) and social innovation (SI) are two concepts that in a shorttime have captivated the attention of the literature due to their social purpose, therefore, consideringthat there is a line of theoretical research that links them and a society that requires them, thispaper aims to empirically investigate the generation of IS in socially responsible companies (ESR)in Tamaulipas. The research adopts a mixed approach starting in October 2021 with four semistructured interviews to later apply a questionnaire to the entire population under study. The resultssuggest that unconsciously and inadvertently the line that separates both concepts is crossed and thatincremental, marketing, institutional and product IS are currently being generated in the companiesstudied. Among the main contributions, it stands out that data is generated from a line that until nowhad been exclusively theoretical. The main limitation is that the study was carried out during theCOVID-19 pandemic.
