The meeing for the expansion of studies and its Americanist projection

Abstract

This article deals with the performance of the ``Junta para Ampliacion de Estudios{''} in Spanish America, particularly in Argentina. In 1914 was founded the Buenos Aires ``Institucion Cultural Espanola{''}, on which the Junta's cultural policy was grounded. The archives consulted are those of the Secretariat of the ``Junta para Ampliacion de Estudios{''} and of the ``Institucion Cultural Espanola{''} in Buenos Aires, preserved in the ``Residencia de Estudiantes{''}, Madrid.
