Abstract
Anisopteromalus calandrae (Howard) and Theocolax elegans (Westwood) have been recorded as parasitoids of the maize weevil, Sitophilus zeamais (Motschulsky), and were collected from maize ( Zea mays L.) in the Huasteca Hidalguense. Both species of parasitoids are new records for Hidalgo, and to our knowledge, this is the first report of the association of T. elegans with S. zeamais in Mexico.
