Abstract

The new scenario resulting from COVID-19 forced universities to adopt strategies for delivering courses remotely, which encouraged the development of research involving faculty and students to measure the impact of the pandemic on academic life. This study emphasizes faculty members and their ability to adapt their work activities according to the demands generated by this epidemiological phenomenon. The objective is to analyze the effect of resilience on the adaptive performance of higher education faculty in the state of Tamaulipas. The database consisted of four hundred forty-one (441) observations, using a quantitative methodology, specifically the structural equation modeling technique, through which it was found that resilience positively and significantly affects adaptive performance, providing useful knowledge for continuous improvement by the academic and human resources departments of higher education institutions.
