Artificial intelligence in medical management: advances and challenges
Abstract
Artificial intelligence has emerged as a revolutionary tool in medical management, promising significant improvements in diagnosis, treatment, and administration of healthcare services. The aim of this research is to analyze and synthesize the existing literature on the use of artificial intelligence in medical management. A literature search based on a descriptive qualitative design was conducted, scientific articles, reports, and case studies published in the last five years were reviewed, and sources were selected through a systematic search in academic databases. The research revealed that significant progress has been made in areas such as diagnostic imaging, personalized medicine, and hospital management, however, key challenges were identified, such as lack of high-quality data, ethical concerns about privacy and security, and resistance to change in the organizational culture of medical institutions. Artificial intelligence has enormous potential to transform medical management, improving the efficiency and accuracy of healthcare services.
