Costa Rican species E. corralesi Gauld, 1991 was found to be a junior synonym of the Mexican species E. oaxaca Por-ter, 1978, syn.n. Epirhyssa frohbergi Gauld and E. theloides Porter are recorded from Mexico for the first time, and E. theloides is also newly recorded from Guatemala.
