Robust stabilization of the hot-dip galvanizing control system
Abstract
This paper presents a new method to stabilize the hot-dip galvanizing control system when parametric uncertainty is considered. The present work was based on the value set characterization for interval plants with uncertain time delay. This is used to introduce a new tachnique to tune the PI control when uncertainty is considered on parameters that are related to the speed of the strip and distance of the air knife to steel strip.
