ResumenThe rapid expansion of digital culture, influenced by the Internet and digital technologies, has brought both opportunities and challenges for older adults. While these technologies can improve access to information and communication, and foster autonomy and independence in everyday activities, the digital divide remains a major problem. Many older adults lack the skills necessary to use these technologies effectively, which limits their social participation and access to the benefits that technology offers. The objective of the research is to analyze the impact of digital culture on older adults through. The methodology uses a non-experimental, transversal and descriptive desig a quantitative approach with data collection through a 22-question questionnaire, applied to a sample of 76 older adults in Tamaulipas, Mexico. The study reveals a coexistence of traditional and modern technologies among older adults, with a high dependence on technology for communication. Lack of skills or knowledge is identified as the main barrier to the use of technology. The need to develop specific training programs to improve digital inclusion and the quality of life of older adults is highlighted.es_ES
