Hybrid learning generated from Higher Education Institutions in Mexico
Abstract
University classes have been transformed as a result of the pandemic generated by SARSCOVID-2 around the world, specifically, the hybrid learning model accelerated with the needto reconfigure programmatic content and assessment strategies for students. The purpose ofthis research is to analyze the hybrid learning developed by the Autonomous University ofTamaulipas-Mexico with Bachelor of Communication Sciences students in 2020, particularly thetraining, technological resources and pedagogical strategies are characterized. The methodologyuses a descriptive, non-experimental field research design, applying a survey as an instrument forcollecting information. The results indicate that, despite the compulsory virtual classes, studentsmaintain their grades and take advantage of technologies; The knowledge generated is based ona hybrid model advancing in spontaneous training processes, technological resources that arecreated to respond to the accelerated transformation that takes place in the educational systemin general, with diverse pedagogical strategies applied by university teachers. It is concluded,despite the promptness of the online classes, thanks to the technological infrastructure andpreparation of the University teachers, the results have been positive
