Abstract
The transition to virtual education in higher education, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, has left a significant mark on the learning of students in the health sciences area, where the implementation of virtual education has faced particular challenges. The hands-on nature of these disciplines, requiring clinical interactions and hands-on experiences, is limited in virtual environments, and the loss of face-to-face interactions and adaptation of assessment methods have been notable challenges.
