Abstract
Gender-based violence is a social problem of increasing international relevance. In Mexico, women experience various forms of violence both in their personal lives and their workplaces. In the latter, it is understood that a violence problem goes beyond employees’ economic well-being and can harm an entire organization by increasing employee turnover. It is a problem that transcends generations and needs to be studied to fight it off, primarily from the younger generations’ perspective. With this in mind, the objective of this study is to determine the effect of different types of workplace violence on the intent to rotate of Gen Z women in Tamaulipas. To this end, a structural equation analysis was conducted using data from a survey involving 90 women under the age of 31. A structural equation model was estimated, and it was found that only psychological violence has a positive effect on the intent to rotate of Tamaulipas Gen Z women.
