Abstract

The organizational climate is analyzed in public and private entities, contrasting the assessment made by the employees by type and organization sector. A questionnaire was applied integrating a sample of 183 subjects. With the factorial analysis, eight climate dimensions were determined: formal structure, responsibility, reward, affectionate environment, identity-growth, leadership, clarity, professional commitment. Cronbach's Alpha greater than .70 shows the adequate reliability of the questionnaire. The results have relevant implications in the management of human capital.
